Background
Sarah is an experienced commercial lawyer who has been ranked in the Best Lawyers ‘Ones to Watch’ for 2025 and 2026. Sarah has a special interest in Human Rights with a particular focus on economic, social and cultural rights. Sarah is notable at the Bar for specialising in Employment, Discrimination, WHS and Industrial Law. Sarah has particular expertise in intersectional employment litigation across the fields of corporate and commercial law, regulatory prosecutions, health law and public law.
Sarah has worked in Health Law for over a decade with a focus on professional regulatory matters, insurance, common law claims, and coronial inquiries. Sarah has particular experience in dealing with matters involving children and childcare services, as well as matters impacting persons with a lived experience of disability.
Sarah acts for a broad range of government and private clients across a variety of industries including information technology, entertainment, retail, construction, financial services, defence, health, education, environmental agencies, manufacturing and NGO’s.
Sarah recently completed a course in International Human Rights Law at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights at the University of Oxford. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the College of Law.
When called to the Bar in 2018, Sarah read with her Honour Justice Elizabeth Raper, and Simeon Beckett SC.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Sarah worked as a solicitor for eight years in Sydney and London.
