Our Common Law specialists have considerable experience advising and appearing at trial and appellate level for clients with respect to professional negligence, medical negligence and abuse claims across a broad range of industries and in Courts of all levels. They also provide effective advice and representation with respect to motor vehicle accident claims and industrial and workplace accident claims before the Personal Injury Commission.

Our Insurance Law specialists are highly regarded in the insurance industry and regularly appear for local and overseas insurers, as well as insureds. Their experience and expertise extends to a wide range of litigated and unlitigated general insurance matters, including insurance contract disputes and indemnity disputes.

Our collective experience in these areas sees our barristers regularly appearing in a range of Federal and State Courts and Tribunals, and before Coronial Inquests and Commissions of Inquiry.

Our Criminal Law barristers regularly appear in judge only and jury criminal trials, sentencing hearings and appeals, as well as in Coronial Inquests and Commissions of Inquiry. Such appearances have included high profile indictable matters, and matters involving white-collar crime.

Our Family Law specialists have extensive experience advising and appearing before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in all aspects of parenting and property matters at trial and appellate level, as well as in the parens patriae jurisdiction. These matters include complex family law financial settlements and parenting matters involving issues of family violence and risk.
